Eighteen years ago, I began guiding travelers through Morocco’s mountains, deserts, and ancient cities, working with leading international travel companies and sharing my homeland with people from every corner of the world. My name is Hossa Bit, and I was born and raised in a small Berber village in the High Atlas Mountains. From an early age, I learned that travel is more than visiting places, it’s about exchanging stories, connecting with people, and experiencing life through another’s eyes.
Over the years, I witnessed the joy travelers felt when they truly connected with Morocco when they sat down to share tea with a local family, trekked through valleys untouched by mass tourism, or listened to ancient stories under a desert sky. But I also saw the shortcomings of many mainstream tours: rushed itineraries, superficial stops, and little real contact with local culture.
